Review: Roger Brun - La Pelle Grand Cru Extra Brut - 2013
Roger Brun logo
Submitted: 1st August 2023
Wonderfully clear and a warm golden colour with tiny bubbles bringing the most most amazing aromas in to play - ripe yellow fruits, biscuit/brioche, honey and hints of caramel. Do give this wine time to breathe. A bold character in flavours, it is crisp and clean with moreish citrus, toasty/oak, peach and a touch nutty. If you visit Ay where Roger Brun is located you simply must pop by & visit & meet a very talented wine maker and loveable, passionate French gentleman that is Philippe Brun & his family.
