Investing in Champagne Salon

A Champagne label that hasn't the familiarity as those household names of Dom Perignon, Cristal and Krug, yet Salon is a unique story in the world of Champagne investing.

Though Salon might not be one of the heavy weights with multiple vineyards and that all impressive employee filled building in Reims or Avenue de Champagne, it hasn't appeared in the movies or isn't that automatic choice of drink to impress others in the nightlife scene, it still commands the greatest respect amongst wine connoisseurs and investors.

Champagne Salon is known to many as that one label from one grape variety, from one vintage harvest and from one Côte de Blancs village. The house only releases it's label upon what they see as the greatest harvests, these vintages have been released since when they were founded in 1911 with so far (in 2025) 44 produced. Initially founded by Eugène-Aimé Salon, the winery is now along with Champagne DELAMOTTE with the team of Didier Depond (president), and Michel Fauconnet (Cellar Master / Production Manager) of the Champagne Laurent-Perrier group.

"Since the 1928 vintage, which earned unanimous recognition from connoisseurs at Salon, the requirement has remained the same: only exceptional years, the greatest vintages are marketed, production is limited, and winemaking processes are unchanging." source Champagne Salon

These higly sought after Champagne labels go through more than ten years of lees aging in the cellars with the art of riddling by hand used - There is approxiamtely 50,000 bottles per vintage year prodcued. This makes them a highly collectable and investible Champagne brand with a global fan base and a very secure history / tradition.
