About the champagne: R.D. 2008 Extra brut is sourced from a total of 18 crus, 84% of which are Grand Cru and 16% of which are Premier Cru.
2008 was an exceptional year marked by a bountiful yield of Pinot Noir and magnificent Chardonnay.
Bollinger R.D. 2008 spent 14 yeras aging on the lees resulting to an extraordinary range of primary, secondary and tertiary characteristics that come in a frame of almost unimaginable tension of developed richness and freshness.

- [x] Aroma: complex fruity notes of acacia, apricot and honey, breadcrumbs accompanied by fresh notes of bergamot.
- [x] Palate: A very rich, precise mousse, Citrus notes are accompanied by flavors of ripe plums and peaches.
- [x] Finish: Notes of fresh hazelnuts and salinity combine to create an intense, everlasting flavorful and lightly oxidized wine at the finish
