I bought tonnes of vintage 1990! So many offers I purchased from Majestic.
Beautiful label.
Tiny whisper when releasing the cork.
Lively where poured. I love old Champagne and this example has a delightful colour, Tate Lyle Golden Syrup colour. Decent bubbles in the glass.
It smells austere / woody. Not a burst of fruit, it's hazelnut husk / wood style.
It's smashing in the palate! It has freshness, the acidity is absolutely delightful. Bramley apple peel with flesh that is browning acidity. It awakens the palate. Bit short on fruit. Though at this age, I do not mind. A slight perfume in length. Elegant, sophisticated taste experience.
Lovely stuff!
