A delight to open with a group if friends in London.
Bottle was in pristine condition, no storage history, but clear colour in the bottle and near perfect ullage level.
A decent pressure / pop when opening.
Mid to darker yellow colouring, honey shade.
Slight streams of tiny bubbles in the glass.
Aromas such apricot, mushroom, woody / leather.
Flavours are still rich, with a slight effervescence in the palate. Dried yellow stone fruits, touch of dried coffee powder, dark honey. Decent length that encourages nutty characters and tannins.
