Review: Paul Launois - Monochrome - 2017

Submitted: 31st July 2023
A smooth, silky nutty and green fruit nose. Added freshness of chalky, pastry and white peppery citrus. Fresh, crisp, clean acidic hit. A citrus, faint nuttiness, white floral, chalky flavour that leaves the palate invigorated and yearning for more. A Gold medal winner at the 2020 Glass of Bubbly Awards in the category of 'Meditation'. If you are in the Champagne region and nearby Le Mesnil sur Oger then make a booking and visit Julien and his wines.
