Golden colour. Devoid of any bubbles (as to be expected). Honey, grapefruit skin, nutty, hints of coffee on the nose. Flavours show a soft citrus character with sprinkling of other yellow fruits, saline, dark honey, minerals. The close appears from no where to deliver delight hazelnut notes. Mushroom lingering most times, though pleasant. A fine tasting experience, the charm of 50 + years obviously adds to the occasion!
