Review: Autréau de Champillon - Les Perles de la Dhuy Prestige Grand Cru Millésime - 2011

Colour - The bubbles rise through a colour of warmed golden honey,
Aroma - smooth and rounded with an array of ripe fruity characters, baked cooking apples, baked granny smith apples, dried apricot with that gorgeous venturing into the aroma with golden honey, dripped over some glazed apple and green pear pastries, the pastry characters greet the nose freshly baked, purchased straight from a botqie little bakery in the country side, glazed baked lemons, with hints of wild yellow and white floral carried by the breeze.
Flavour - A smoothed acidic character, softened by time, with a expressive display of fresh and dried apricots and peaches, along with ripe green and cooking apples, the Golden honey appears once more, subtler in appearance, lightly dripped over some yellow stone fruits, a hint of pastry comes through in the background, securing the back of the palate, with a couple of yellow rose petals gently placed on top.
