Considering the age, as of this year it's 36, the performance was quite outstanding.

There was still a relatively decent hiss as the cork was released from the bottle. The bubbles were relatively present in the glass, approximately at 50% normal level and slowly faded to leave next to none after 5 minutes or so.

A deep golden colouring.

Aromas were rich and still rather fruity with a strong dried peach / apricot presence along with citrus and dried yellow floral notes.

Flavours were vibrant with an acidic freshness. Citrus, apricot, peach skin, dried apricot. Umami style creeping in mid palate and in length with toasty caramel, saline and pink grapefruit. A decent length.
