Perfect colour for the 1979, golden. Tiny bubbles.

Fruit dominant nose with lots of baked bread telling me of decent yeast contact. A lovely complex nose.

Good acidity in the palate, lots of flavour and mouth-watering. Bit of minerality, little bit of oak, a toasty character. Length shows good, bright acidity still. Masses of body a very rich vintage.
