Piper-Heidsieck Rare is a truly unique prestige cuvée made up of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir grapes, which are all sourced from Grand Cru villages. The Rare Cuvee is only produced in the expectional year; only 12 vintages have been released in the last 40 years. It’s an expectational champagne with pronounced fruit notes of pineapple, orange blossom, honey, pear, sweet vanilla, and a touch of white flowers. A medium-to-full-body Champagne with bright acidity, a very fine mousse, and a creamy finish. Perfect to be enjoyed with pan-fried curried monkfish.
